Petra

Petra – Please note that visiting Petra is a costly excursion

The book of Revelation predicts that the ancient city of Petra, in Jordan the neighboring country to Israel, will become a place of refuge for the Jews, who will be in flight from their homeland when the final conflict breaks out between Moslems and Jews. Petra was first mentioned as the city of Edom, or the rose red city. It was founded by the brother of Jacob/Israel, who was Esau, over three thousand years ago.

The city is a labyrinth of caves and tombs, but while it rests in the Jordanian desert along the Kings highway it is fed with springs that literally come up from the ground. In fact one of the springs is called the spring of Musa. Musa was the Arabic name for Moses. It was during the forty year wilderness wandering of the Hebrews, that Israel came to this very place, where Moses struck a rock and water flowed out. Water still flows even to this day.

This enormous city with its thousands of cave tombs will be able to house and handle the multitude of Jews fleeing the onslaught of the terrible evil forces even now bearing down on this historic people.
